William Carey University (WCU) is located on three campuses in Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Biloxi, Mississippi; and New Orleans, Louisiana. WCU offers baccalaureate degrees in the areas of the fine and liberal arts, education, natural and behavioral sciences, business, religion, music, and nursing. They also offer a M.B.A., M.Ed., and M.S. in psychology, a M.Ed. in music, a M.S. in biomedical science, M.S.N. degrees, and a specialist degree in elementary education. They also have a new medical school offering a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.

Athletic teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) in baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, and men’s golf. The Crusaders have an impressive history of athletic excellence. WCU also has a strong intramural program offering students the opportunity to play basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, and volleyball in a friendly setting.
WCU offers many activities for the over 3200 students enrolled. Active campus organizations include the Student Government Association, Baptist Student Union, African-American Cultural Society, International Student Organization (ISO), Delta Omicron Fraternity, Serampore Players, social clubs, and many more.
